Grameenphone launches the nation's first environmentally friendly customer service center.


Grameenphone has established the country's first environmentally friendly customer service center. On January 29, the Grameenphone Center was inaugurated in Ambarkhana, Sylhet. Through this initiative, the company has set a new and inspiring example of sustainable management. This reflects Grameenphone's unwavering commitment to environmental protection. It will not only help preserve the environment but also enhance customer experience.

Constructed with the goal of building a sustainable future, this Grameenphone Center is a pioneering step in the telecommunications sector, where 99.9% of operations will be paperless and plastic-free. From construction to interior design and daily operations, every aspect of the center reflects environmental responsibility. Every element used here is made from sustainable materials, replacing conventional materials with eco-friendly, reusable, and recyclable alternatives. Customer service at this center will be entirely paperless, improving efficiency through digital innovation while reducing environmental impact.

The center integrates a vertical garden and eco-friendly landscaping to create a natural ambiance. Additionally, its design incorporates Sylhet’s traditional Shital Pati (cool mats). Grameenphone believes in a blend of innovation and nature, and this initiative reflects that vision.

The center was officially inaugurated on January 29 in the presence of Grameenphone's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Farha Naz Zaman, along with representatives from the Grameenphone Center and relevant stakeholders.

Regarding this milestone, Farha Naz Zaman stated,
