Marco Rubio has been sworn in as the new Secretary of State of the United States. The U.S. Senate has approved his appointment as Secretary of State. According to CNN, all 99 senators voted in his favor.
Marco Rubio is known as a staunch supporter of Israel. He is also recognized by many as an opponent of China. Even the Democratic Party, the party of former President Joe Biden, holds him in high regard. As a result, no Democratic senator voted against him. Many of them believe that Marco Rubio is the right person for the responsibilities of the State Department.

He has been serving as Florida's Republican Senator since 2011. A few years ago, he opposed Trump, but recently, their relationship has improved significantly. Now, he is set to take on the most important role in the Trump administration.
During outgoing President Joe Biden's tenure, Antony Blinken served as Secretary of State. However, towards the end of his term, he faced widespread criticism for supporting Israel's genocide in Gaza. In fact, during his final press conference as Secretary of State, Blinken was publicly confronted by journalists. One journalist even called him a "criminal" in front of everyone.
