It is mandatory to use the same type of charger on all devices

Using a universal charger, like USB-C, is now mandatory in some regions to reduce e-waste and improve convenience.

The European Union has made it compulsory to use the same charger on all new smartphones, tablets and cameras. This has been made compulsory in the recent new rules. The European Commission was reported on Saturday.

It said the EU was officially captured in the EU to charge the 'USB-C' type to charge the electronic device. There will be fast charging technology with the same charger for all new phones, tablets and cameras. They expect e-waste to be reduced as a result.

According to one study, every year only 4,000 tonnes of e-waste is produced from the wasted and discarded in Europe. Earlier, the European Commission proposed a new law to ensure the same technical standards for all devices around 2021. So to reduce this waste, they offer universal charging technology for all smartphones and small electronic devices.

The European Union says the use of the same charger will make European lives easier and reduce consumers' costs. In addition, they are convinced that the use of the old charger will reduce the number of unused charger.

However, Apple opposed the proposal, saying the proposal would damage the innovative process. Originally the company's iPhone is used by their own 'Lightning Connector'.
